CalmiCamp privacy overview
This page describes the current V1 behavior only. It is meant to explain how CalmiCamp handles browser-local planning state, protected admin data, and recommendation-related commercial relationships without making unsupported legal or compliance claims.
Current V1 data behavior
CalmiCamp V1 is a travel information and planning product. In the current implementation, some traveler and trip planning state is stored in the browser as local session data for convenience while you use the site. This is primarily browser-local state, such as traveler profile selections and trip-planning workspace preferences, kept in sessionStorage so the planning experience can feel continuous during an active session.
Local planning state vs protected admin data
Browser-local planning state is not the same as protected administrative data. Traveler choices, route preferences, and trip workspace data stored in the browser are separate from data used for protected admin tools or internal operations. The project may also use Supabase authentication and cookies for protected admin functionality, which is a separate system from public traveler planning features.
Affiliate and commercial recommendations
CalmiCamp may include affiliate links or commercial recommendations on clearly identified commercial surfaces, including Shop and eligible Traveler World recommendation sections. When a user follows an affiliate link and makes a qualifying purchase, CalmiCamp may receive compensation. That compensation does not determine editorial approval, contextual eligibility, or whether a recommendation is considered useful for travelers.
Analytics and tracking
As of the current V1 implementation, CalmiCamp does not include a third-party behavioral analytics or tracking integration for site-wide user behavior. This may change in a future product phase, but it is not part of the current implementation.
